Assistant Youth Shelter Worker - HOST Youth and Family Program
We have an on call position available at our HOST (Homes Offering Shelter to Teens) Youth & Family Program. Assists in the responsibility for client supervision, direct care, safety, and security in the HOST youth shelter. Opportunity to develop a unique skill-set concerning how to engage youth through positive youth development and assist in providing crisis intervention, referral to supportive services, re-connecting youth with their school and community, and making a significant impact on the lives of youth and their community. The HOST Youth & Family Program provides temporary and long-term shelter and supportive services to runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth ages 11-17 yrs, by promoting positive youth development and empowering youth through crisis intervention, case management, family mediation, counseling, life skills and parent education. The ideal candidate will have education in psychology, sociology, human development, education, criminal justice or related field. Must have experience working with youth and valid driver’s license with proof of current automobile insurance.
Billing-Collections Specialist - West Salem Clinic
Seeking a skilled billing/collections specialist, who is able to interact effectively and courteously with patients, staff, and insurance carrier representatives. Candidate will performs billing functions for patients including, but not limited to, charge and payment entry, applying sliding discounts and correcting and/or adjusting patients' accounts and refunds at our West Salem Clinic office. Must demonstrate a basic understanding of computers and file systems and logic. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience preferred.
Call Center Specialist - West Salem Clinic
Seeking candidate to perform receptionist and secretarial duties, act as first contact with all patients, clients, and other persons that call into the clinic, answering first level of questions, when applicable. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, not required.
Community Relations And Development Assistant - Administration
Northwest Human Services is seeking a candidate to assist the Community Relations & Development Director in activities and tasks that maintain and improve the productivity of the agency and the welfare of its clients. Position is part-time flexible Monday – Friday. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational and collaboration skills. Crisis Intervention Worker On-Call - HOST
We have an on-call position available at our Crisis & Information Hotline program. This position provides telephone and walk-in crisis intervention, triage, referrals and advocacy based on client’s assessed needs. Hours vary according to the needs of the program and availability of the worker. Current enrollment in, or course completion in social services or related field and experience working with crisis intervention preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including various shifts. Ability to use appropriate problem solving and decision making skills. Must we willing to complete a minimum of 32 hours crisis intervention training. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform general nursing and health care tasks at our West Salem Clinic, requiring the exercise of independent judgment and decision-making, while working independently with providers. Must have a current Oregon LPN license, be certified in infant, child and adult, at least one year experience in administration of medications and a minimum of 1 year of work experience preferred. Bilingual preferred not required.
