Call Center Specialist - West Salem Clinic

Northwest Human Services is seeking an experienced candidate to perform receptionist and secretarial duties at our West Salem Clinic. Candidate will act as first contact with all patients, clients, and other persons that call into the clinic, answering first level of questions, when applicable. Answer the telephone, schedule appointments, route calls as appropriate and take messages and distribute.

Other duties will include: Gathering information on insurance coverage and/or responsible party. Verify the accuracy of information; enter and/or update patient demographics and insurance information for billing and data collection purposes. Call and confirm future appointments of patients.

Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, legible handwriting and Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus. Previous experience in a medical clinic preferred.

Clinic Director - West Salem Clinic/Total Health Community Clinic

Northwest Human Services is seeking an experienced health care professional to oversee & direct services of our busy Joint Commission accredited, Federally Qualified Health Clinics in West Salem and Monmouth.

Successful candidate will work closely with agency directors. Must be creative and work well in a team environment, be committed to our mission of service to the underserved, and demonstrate success as an administrative generalist, dealing with all aspects of operation: service delivery, grant writing, & developing community collaborative projects.

Position requires two to five years' experience in management of a multi-physician office or medical clinic, including supervisory experience. This experience must be within the last six years. Graduate level degree preferred. Previous experience working in a FQHC environment preferred. Strong finance background in developing and monitoring budgets a plus. Must be bondable.

Joint Commission and accreditation knowledge needed. Must be able to write policies and procedures, be self-directed, results-oriented and a proven team player. Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is a plus.

Homeless Outreach Mental Health Specialist - HOAP

Northwest Human Services is seeking a qualified mental health professional to assist homeless clients at HOAP (Homeless Outreach Advocacy program) with information, referral, advocacy, transportation, case management, housing, and counseling to support clients in the stabilization process.

Successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work or related Behavioral Health field, have experience and proficiency in diagnosis and use of DSM IV, and have knowledge of community resources and support systems. Must have a vehicle that can be used for work, valid driver license and auto insurance.

Mental Health Counselor (Bilingual) - West Salem Clinic Mental Health

We are seeking a highly competent behavioral health professional to work with our mental health team at the West Salem Clinic Mental Health department. To provide mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Assess the nature and extent of client's MH and COD presenting problem, and formulate a plan for service that addresses MH and COD issues.

Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or other mental health field; graduate coursework in theory, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders; and at least one year of experience required. Bilingual in Spanish/English required. LMFT, LPC or LCSW preferred. Position is full time.

Physician - West Salem Clinic


Seeking Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for West Salem Clinic. Board Certified or eligible for board certification in family medicine. Completion of ACGME accredited three year residency program in family medicine. Eligible for OR medical license. Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Physician will also see patients at 180 Atwater St., Monmouth, OR 97361.

The West Salem Clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, except Wednesday when the clinic is open until 8:00 PM.

Shelter Worker (On-call) - HOAP

We have an on-call position available at our HOAP (Homeless Outreach Advocacy Project) Program in our Safe Haven Short-term shelter. Provide support & services needed to facilitate Safe Haven shelter access, obtaining & keeping permanent housing. Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field; or a combination of at least three year’s relevant work, education, training or experience required. Must be able to work flexible hours, some on-call and shift work.
