Northwest Human Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is funded by public and private sources. As budgets continue to grow tighter, we rely on the support of our community partners in order to continue providing quality health care and essential social services to the underserved citizens in our community.
Individual and business contributions are fundamental for our daily operation in twofold ways: they add much needed financial resources to our limited budget and it meets our matching requirements for federal and state grants.
Although grants make up a large portion of our funding, often times they are restricted to certain programs and specific services, while private contributions allow us to invest these resources in our most needed programs and services. This is why private financial support is critical for the agency.
