Healthcare for All

We welcome all.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels respected, safe, valued, and truly belongs.

At NWHS we are committed to providing culturally appropriate services to our patients and clients of all backgrounds, cultures and experiences. We continue to maintain the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services which includes tailoring services to an individual’s culture and language preferences. We also follow all Federal requirements including those under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Age Discrimination Act of 1975 which as a collective prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or age. In addition, NWHS also complies with all laws and requirements set by the State of Oregon including prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, martial or familial status, or military status.

As an employer, we are committed to advancing our welcoming culture by actively creating pathways to remove barriers, all while holding ourselves accountable at every level of our agency. We believe that creating a safe space of belonging takes all of us.

From our workplace practices to the services we provide, we will continue to foster an environment that encourages open communication, celebrates differences, and ensures opportunities for all.
