Barrier Funds: Small Support, Big Impact
Barrier Funds provide flexible, immediate assistance for individuals and families facing obstacles that can derail progress toward stability. - $35–$50 — Housing application fees that unlock access to safe, stable housing
- $45 — State ID cards required for employment, benefits, and medical care
- $45 — 30-day bus passes to get to work, school, or appointments
- $100+ — Multiple barrier needs, such as transportation, documentation, or short-term financial assistance
